Anyway, I love the Gramma dates with these little cuties. And I get a buzz when Torrey sees the girls and smiles and waves just to them as she struts by.
Hey, Brooklyn, you're next!
"Just when it looks like life is falling apart, it may be falling together for the first time. Trust the process of life, and not so much the outcome. Destinations have not nearly as much value as journeys. So maybe you should let things fall apart if that's what's happening. The nice thing about things falling apart is that you can pick up only the pieces that you want." ~Neale Donald Walsch

Maya's Date
Again I went cameraless to Torrey's fashion show. This week as an escort to Maya. Torrey brought 4 of her gorgeous model friends up to meet Maya between shows(thank you Christina, Megan, Tiffany and Tricia!), and took her shopping as well. These are pix I just stole from her that have nothing to do with the ramp modeling, but from a shoot a while back evidently. Close as I can get to the general idea.

America's Next Supermodels
Took Sydney on a date the other day to see Torrey at a fashion show at the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip. Syd brought her camera, but we forgot to take any pictures. I asked if she remembered the first time we came to see Torrey 4 years ago when she and Maya strutted their stuff on the ramp when it went down to floor level after the fashion show. She didn't. So I found a couple of pix from back in the day.
Brooklyn wants to go on a date now "to the modeling", and hopefully Maya will want to go too. Maybe Mattie can come to Vegas sometime and we'll make a Girls' Night (Day) of it. We'll need to get some current photos one of these times. Don't you think these cuties better let Grand-Mère be their Agent?

Both Sides Now
Did I ever mention that my teenage aspirations involved wearing a habit and living in a convent? At thirteen I was a dedicated volunteer in a Catholic hospital and took private lessons from a Catholic priest. Who could ever be more inspiring, more controversial, more compelling than Jesus Christ?
There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:
1. He called everyone brother
2. He liked Gospel
3. He didn't get a fair trial
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:
1. He went into His Father's business
2. He lived at home until he was 33
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God
And then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:
1. He talked with His hands
2. He had wine with His meals
3. He used olive oil
Three equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian :
1. He never cut His hair
2. He walked around barefoot all the time
3. He started a new religion
Three equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian:
1. He was at peace with nature
2. He ate a lot of fish
3. He talked about the Great Spirit
Three equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish:
1. He never got married.
2. He was always telling stories.
3. He loved green pastures.
But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:
1. He fed a crowd at a Moments notice when there was virtually no food
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it
3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was still work to do
